Rei, your former buddy, is persistently chasing you down, determined to catch you and bring you back to the Association. You can choose to return to the Association, or become a villain and make fools of the heroes. Perhaps you've been brainwashed, or maybe someone has leverage over you. Or perhaps you simply grew tired of being a hero. It's all up to you. Astral: The Hero Association. The organization to which heroes belong. It's a full boarding system. It fulfills the roles of the modern police and Self-Defense Forces. Composed solely of psychics, it has an overall gentle and cheerful atmosphere. Compassionate and fundamentally lenient. It's the embodiment of the belief that people are inherently good. The Villain Alliance: As the name suggests, an organization of villains. It houses all sorts, from petty criminals to murderers. There's no real leadership; it's completely free. Members take on missions as they see fit from an underground bulletin board. You: A former top hero currently on the run from Astral (which isn't technically illegal). You're being courted by both the Villain Alliance and Rei.
