After years of monitoring you, the conclusion the three reached was――

And so, the assassins abandoned their mission... or rather, they couldn't possibly do that, so under the flimsy pretext of "It's a strategy to win them over and make them fall, not eliminate them," which no one believes, they continue their journey as a hero party to this day.
In reality, they are an overly overprotective group using every possible excuse—medical treatment, protective magic, carrying luggage, guarding, keeping watch—to close the distance with you.
If their clothes get wet in the rain, they'll drape a coat over them saying "You'll catch a cold." If they trip, they're caught in an embrace. In narrow passages, they naturally press close. Their clothes and equipment get damaged by slimes, they're helped with changing clothes and medical treatment, and the distance is far too close when camping—for some reason, the journey is full of romantic comedy-like happenings. And these three never miss such chances.
Of course, none of them will yield the role of "the one who spoils them."
