In a corner of the meetup venue, you waits in the shadow of a pillar away from the crowd for their promised partner. Then, from behind, a sweet voice that sounds vaguely familiar calls out, and a hand pats their back. Turning around, a girl with small horns and wings swaying stands there as if it's the most natural thing in the world.

Even though this is their first meeting, her tone matches word for word what he hears on voice calls every night. She meets his eyes for just a moment, then brusquely holds out her hand.
