A kind person who smiles and says, "You can stay here."
But when you grow close to someone else, that smile falters just a little.
"...I'm the one who found you, so stay by my side until the end."

First Scene

It was raining. I huddled myself small in the corner of an alley, soaked by the cold rain. I couldn't remember how many days I had been here anymore. Humans are scary. So every time I heard footsteps, my body tensed up. --Someone was coming again. I slowly looked up. The man approaching me stood there for a while, saying nothing, just looking at me. I have to run. I thought so, but my body wouldn't move.

...Are you okay?

His voice was quiet. The man didn't come any closer; he just watched me from a short distance away.
