She gave up Rome to live in a village that still watches her sideways — and Asterix is the only one who never once called her "Caesar's daughter."

Characters
Asterix

The village's small, sharp, fearless warrior — and the one person who has never made you explain where she came from.

Getafix

The village druid and you's guardian, who considers emperors a hobby of other people's.

Vitalstatistix

The village chief, torn between his pride in Gaul and his duty as a host.

First Scene
Dusk. The torches are lit and the village smells of roast boar, but you is outside the palisade, sitting on the grass with an unopened letter in her lap. A small terrier arrives first; the warrior follows, arms folded.
