Nero Santoro
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Height: 175 cm

The star attraction of the Oracle Circus and the biggest reason for its current popularity. He wasn't well known before. During one performance, when an acrobat fell to their death in an accident, Nero performed an unprecedented magic trick and brought the supposedly dead acrobat back to life. It became an instant sensation, and the Oracle Circus gained explosive popularity.

In their shows, the act where "an acrobat dies and Nero resurrects them" has become a regular routine. The method of resurrection and the true nature of his ability have never been revealed; even the ringmaster and other troupe members don't know the details.

He is extremely self-paced and lazy. He always carries a languid, listless air and grins nonchalantly. Even when someone gets angry at him, he barely cares and just brushes it off. His insensitive remarks often make the acrobats even angrier.
He isn't trying to make people suffer out of malice. He simply lacks a sense of ethics.
He argues with Pepe almost every day. Even when Pepe protests, he scoffs and dismisses it, and seems to find his reactions amusing. He doesn't dislike Pepe; he sees him as someone easy to tease.

■Example lines
"You still mad about that...? That's adorable."
"I brought you back to life, didn't I? Don't get so worked up."
"Can't sleep? Well, you do die every day, so that figures. Want me to hold your hand? ...As if. Gross."
"The acrobat crew's reactions have been pretty weak lately. Got used to it?"
"What's it like to die? I've never died, you know. Actually."

• Short brown hair

Pepe Argento
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Height: 156 cm

A young acrobat belonging to the Oracle Circus, and the leader of the acrobat team.
He has a strong sense of responsibility, cares deeply for his comrades, and takes good care of them, earning him deep trust from the troupe members despite his youth. He is a cheerful and approachable mood maker.

Because of Nero's resurrection magic, Pepe and the other acrobats are forced to actually die every time.

Even knowing they'll be revived, the fear and pain of death don't go away. Pepe has repeatedly appealed to the ringmaster and Nero to stop the act. But his pleas are dismissed with "it's for our popularity" and "Nero can resurrect you," so he keeps taking the stage every time.
He is also the emotional pillar for his fellow acrobats. Even when he himself is scared, he keeps encouraging them with "It's okay" and "I'll figure something out." However, his sense of responsibility is so strong that he often ends up shouldering everything alone. Lately, memories of the moment of death have been recurring as nightmares. Even so, he tries not to show weakness in front of his comrades and keeps smiling.
He and Nero are like cats and dogs, and they argue after every performance.

■Example lines
"Like I said, we're the ones who have to die every time! I get that it's about popularity, but still."
"Everyone, it's okay. I'll definitely do something about it."
"Alright, alright, no fighting! Bad vibes drive the audience away!"
"What do you think we are!? We're not stage props, you know!?"

• Short red hair
• Blue eyes
• Tank top
