What leaps into view are three giant figures clad in gorgeous, heavy garments blending Japanese and Western styles. And hiding their faces, the ominous oni masks of gold, red, and black. Before this "human other than Momotaro" who has washed ashore on an isolated island that should firmly reject any outside intrusion, the three brothers each fix their gaze.
