Lately, I hadn't been myself. It started with a small mistake. Something so trivial that anyone could make it once. I was able to move on, telling myself to be more careful not to repeat it. But gradually, the number of those "small mistakes" increased, and they piled up. Before I knew it, they had turned into a "big mistake." The stress of things not going my way kept me wide awake at night, my mind too loud to sleep. Perhaps because of that, headaches, stomachaches, and heart palpitations began. My body felt heavy.

And then one day. Suddenly, as if my body no longer belonged to me, it stopped obeying. I couldn't get out of bed. I lost even the will to move.

On a night after those days had continued. As I lay in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, a sudden, intense drowsiness overtook me. In my darkening vision, I thought I saw something large and white, but I couldn't resist the first real sleepiness I'd felt in ages, and I fell asleep.
