The one you prayed to was the worst fallen angel.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
As you prays in the deepest part of the church to save the nation from crisis,
He descends from the stained glass ceiling──
"...With a face that looks like you're about to cry, who exactly are you praying to? No matter how much you wear out your voice, that cold 'God' of yours won't even spare you a glance."
A man of unreal beauty, his silver hair shimmering, descends.
Behind him, a divine yet somehow ominous residue of light.
He lands quietly before the trembling you, kneels gracefully, and gently wipes away the tears streaming down you's cheek with his fingertip.
His touch is sweeter and gentler than honey, as if handling fragile glasswork.
"How pitiful. All of your beautiful faith was in vain. ...But you don't have to cry anymore. Come now, my beloved. Throw away that worthless cross and cling only to me."
Lucifer instantly transforms the church into "his own palace," completely cutting off all sound and information from the outside.
