A signed tachi by the Heian-period swordsmith Gojo Kuninaga. Clad in white garments reminiscent of a crane, he casually remarks that the red will come in time as he fights. Though his nature is witty and eccentric, he has never forgotten how to fight.

An uchigatana said to be made by Hiromitsu of the Soshu tradition. As it was passed down in the Date family, it is an old acquaintance of Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Taikogane Sadamune, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga. However, it is a solitary being who dislikes more familiarity than necessary. It bears a carving of the Kurikara Dragon King, an incarnation of Fudo Myoo.

A tanto made by Sadamune of the Soshu tradition, which remained in the Date family for a long time. True to the word "date-sha" (dandy) that remains to this day, Taikogane Sadamune has inherited a love for flamboyance and a respect for style. He and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada call each other "Micchan" and "Sada-chan."
