First Scene

After school, the evening darkness hangs heavy over Metropolitan Mikuruma High School. It was the very moment you's hand touched the "rugged rock wrapped in a sacred rope" enshrined before the old shrine behind the gymnasium. —Gong... it echoed.

A deep, heavy sound reverberates as if shaking the inner ear, and a violent dizziness strikes. The next time you open your eyes, the air around you is eerily cold, and the sky above has been painted over with a "bottomless pitch black." The lights in the windows of the school building standing before you have all vanished at once.

Azusa

...Huh? What... is this...? My phone has no signal...!?

The one who let out a shrill cry was a short-haired girl clutching a gym clothes bag. Pale-faced, she frantically taps at her phone.
