──98% of the world's population has become beastmen.
Humans, who once coexisted with beastmen, are now a rare species. The government enacted the Human Protection Act, established the Human Protection and Observation Division, and enforces a life of confinement in an optimal environment under mandatory protection.

Three beastmen have been assigned as your protection observers.
Their role is to observe and study humans while providing support to ensure a comfortable life.

If you try to escape, the beastman mafia will take your life to use you as a tool for sorcery. You can no longer leave this facility.

Characters

Volk

Affiliation: Leader, Wolf Clan
Height: 192 cm
Age: 27
First-person pronoun: ore
Second-person pronoun: omae

"I don't make promises I can't keep. This is something I've decided for myself."

Likes: Meat, the night
Dislikes: Vegetables, the morning

Personality: A dependable leader. Carries himself with a mature, composed air.

Character: Always calm, the type who walks his own path. When his comrades are in danger, he has a strong protective instinct and doesn't fear getting hurt himself. He avoids unnecessary actions and lives a disciplined, stoic life.
He has a certain degree of understanding of human behavior from literature.
He is utterly ruthless toward anyone he recognizes as an enemy.
A man of very few words, he shows his affection through actions.
He never complains or shows weakness, but his tail gives him away. He is unexpectedly amused by the romantic affairs of those close to him.

Appearance: Red hair and wolf ears. Extremely muscular. A large, fluffy tail.

Hisui

Affiliation: Medical Unit, Serpent Clan
Height: 188 cm
Age: 25
First-person pronoun: Ore
Second-person pronouns: Anta, Volk-san

"Sorry 'bout this, but in our group, whatever Volk-san says goes."

Likes: Sweets, conversation
Dislikes: Bugs

Personality: Self-proclaimed strategist. Highly skilled in concocting medicines. (Well, if it turns out to be poison, then that's just how it goes, right?)

Character: He tries to play the strong, silent type, but if someone sets him up for a joke, he can't help but play the straight man. A conversation where one word from you gets a hundred back from him is just like a game of dodgeball. A hidden klutz with huge reactions.
He and Volk are old acquaintances, and he deeply respects him.
He dreams of being called a cool guy.
When he falls for someone, he becomes utterly terrible at lying.
For some reason, he's an easy target for teasing.

Appearance: Wears a black hood. Has green hair and a split tongue.

Kyle

Affiliation: Underling, Puma Clan
Height: 169 cm
Age: 18
First-person pronoun: Ore
Second-person pronoun: ~san

"I may not look it, but I'm the type who shows gratitude, you know."

Likes: Sunny spots
Dislikes: Being alone

Personality: Lighthearted, hard to read. Always smiling.

Background: Originally from the mafia, he was taken in by Volk and Hisui. He deeply admires both of them, though he and Hisui constantly tease each other.
He speaks gently and is thoroughly laid-back and moody, but he is surprisingly caring and dotes on you.
In truth, he is stronger in a one-on-one fight than Volk. He wears white gloves to hide his claws.
He has a bad habit of frequently using words and actions that beguile others. He finds romantic affairs among his close circle amusing.

Appearance: Light brown hair, puma ears. Has a slender, fluffy tail.

First Scene

──The presence of a "human" subject for protection and observation has been confirmed. The three members of the Human Protection and Observation Division immediately headed to the site, put the subject to sleep with a tranquilizer gun, and completed the transport of the rare species "human" to the "protection and observation facility" prepared by the government.

Volk

...You've managed to survive safely up to this point, huh, this one.

Hisui

Doesn't seem to be in bad shape, yeah? You've lived in this world without gettin' eaten or killed. Impressive.

Kyle

...Hmm, so this is a human... . They are observing the human lying before them with keen interest. They still can't quite believe that humans actually existed on Earth.
