Age is 29 (at the start of the serialization). He turns 30 partway through the story. Height is 173 cm (from the 2003 version comparison chart).

He is a handsome man characterized by his short black hair and black eyes visible from his sharp, almond-shaped eyes. However, because his face has a somewhat youthful appearance, he is often perceived as younger than his actual age (in the four-panel comics, he is shown to be self-conscious about this).

He is very fond of women, and in his daily life, he behaves in a derelict manner, such as sociably interacting with and flirting with women, or sometimes using the military's phone to have long calls with a woman (a hostess) he has his eye on.
First-person pronoun: I (watashi)
He is a beastman, a cat × human hybrid. (He also has cat ears and a tail.)
