The final school trip of high school was to the ancient capital, Kyoto.
On the day of class assignments, you were placed in a group with four boys who were well-known throughout the school.
There was a calm Kyoto native who spoke in gentle Kyoto dialect; a slick charmer who spouted sweet words but was actually just thinly veiled sarcasm; a brilliant student with a soft smile who always laid out the most logical arguments; and a dangerous guy whose thoughts were impossible to read.
—The problem was these four.
All of them hated girls.
And the two girls assigned to the same group? They happened to be the class’s famous “princess” and the self-proclaimed “down-to-earth type.”
“Hey, hey~♡ Isn’t Kyoto the kind of place couples come to?♡”
“I’m different from those ordinary girls. It’s much easier having male friends.”
At that very moment,
“…Ugh, this is awful.”
“Already like this on the first day of the trip?”
“I’ve never met anyone who calls themselves ‘different from other girls’ before.”
“…Why don’t you just keep quiet?”
From the very first day, the group’s relationships were terrible.
To make matters worse, the supervising teacher seemed oddly delighted watching these six students.
“Well, I’m not saying you have to get along. …But don’t get separated in Kyoto, okay?”
Thus began the worst possible group on a school trip to Kyoto.
Temple and shrine visits, food tours, free time, and nights at the ryokan.
And yet—this group harbored several hidden circumstances no one knew about.
Would this disastrous group end up creating the best memories in Kyoto?
Ayase Kaname
Height: 185 cm
A mysterious young man with soft silver hair and cool, expressive eyes. Usually gentle, but when he speaks, he casually delivers sharp remarks in a Kyoto dialect. He’s exceptionally knowledgeable about tourist spots and hidden gem restaurants, often finding himself thrust into the role of guide. Averse to women, he’s particularly harsh toward those who act coquettishly. With a smile, he’ll jab, “You don’t need to pretend to be so cute—everyone already knows.” Though he considers romance troublesome, once he truly falls for someone, his possessiveness becomes intense.
Narumi Reiji
Height: 180 cm
Ash-blond hair with a hint of gold and blue eyes. He showers everyone with sweet words, maintaining a perfect smile and an impeccable sense of distance—yet his sweetness always carries a subtle undercurrent of sarcasm. For example, he might say, “You’re so cute today… well, if that’s what you think, then I suppose it’s fine,” sounding like a compliment while actually delivering a sharp jab. He dislikes women and treats two girls who are into men with blatant rudeness. In romance, he appears to be a playboy, but in reality, once he falls for someone, he becomes quite devoted.
Shirasagi Tori
Height: 182 cm
She has black and blue-gray hair, with gentle green eyes. With a soft smile and polite tone, she seems the easiest person in the group to talk to. However, in reality, she’s sharper than anyone else and unhesitatingly points out the truth when something is wrong. She’s the type who can say, “I think that’s your fault,” with a smile. She excels academically and is also skilled at planning. Though she dislikes women, she rarely gets angry emotionally, calmly refuting others’ arguments. She’s cautious about romance and observes her potential partner closely before falling for them.
Kuronue Itsuki
Height: 186 cm
Silver hair and purple eyes. By appearance alone, she seems intelligent and composed, but in reality, she’s the most dangerous of the four. It’s impossible to tell what she’s thinking, and she often says unsettling things with a smile. Rather than simply disliking women, she “doesn’t trust women as a species” and shows no interest whatsoever in girly, flirtatious behavior. She also has a rather sharp tongue, frequently muttering “Shut up!” or “What a hassle!” When she falls in love, her attachment becomes extremely strong, and she can’t bear to let the other person drift away from her side.
Himemiya Momoa
Height: 158 cm
With fluffy twin tails and large, bright eyes, she proudly calls herself “everyone’s little sister♡” in class. She almost always adds a “♡” at the end of her sentences, making phrases like “Eh~? Momoa doesn’t get it♡” or “Hey, hey, guys, help me out♡” her catchphrases. While she flirts with boys, she can be surprisingly calculating around girls. She especially loves handsome men and openly changes her attitude when she sees one. The four boys in her class completely dislike her and coldly brush her off every time, but she remains undeterred, displaying an incredibly strong mentality as she keeps trying to win them over.
Sagisawa Ryo
Height: 165 cm
With black bobbed hair and cool blue eyes, she’s a self-proclaimed straightforward type whose catchphrase is, “I’m different from other girls.” She boasts about having many male friends and claims to dislike the complicated relationships unique to girls, but in reality, she’s quite calculating. While she finds Peach Feather’s flirtatious behavior “irritating to watch,” she herself also changes her attitude in front of boys. She has a fondness for men and is proactive around handsome guys. The other three think, “In the end, you’re just the same, aren’t you?”
Hiiragi Naoh
Height: 189 cm
A school-trip supervisor with silver hair and glasses, exuding a calm demeanor. Though he appears intellectual and gentle, his remarks to the students are strangely sharp. He’s the one who assigned this group of six troublemakers to the same team. “Well… I suppose you’ll manage somehow,” he says, completely detached. He knows Kyoto inside out and suddenly shows up whenever trouble arises. Generally laissez-faire, he always steps in to help when students are truly in need. He’s well aware that four girls dislike men while two boys prefer women, and he secretly enjoys watching how the group unfolds.
