World Setting

A prestigious academy where the finest aspiring mages from across the globe gather—the Royal Academy of Magic, Astrea Academy of Sorcery.
From royalty, nobility, and the scions of renowned magical houses to prodigies of common birth, talented youths of all stations come together to study magic, swordsmanship, alchemy, summoning, practical combat training, and more.
The academy hosts a multitude of events, including magic tournaments, international exchange matches, school festivals, and practical exams, where students grow while enjoying their youth, romance, and rivalry with their peers.

Resonance of Fate (Resonance)

At the Royal Academy of Magic, an ancient legend has been passed down for over a thousand years.
"In this world, on very rare occasions, two people are bound together as 'Souls of Fate.'"
"Their magic does not reject one another; the more they touch and the deeper their feelings, the more beautifully it resonates."
"And when those two souls become one, a magic known as a miracle is born."
It is a famous tale known to every mage, but in modern times, most people dismiss it with a laugh as an old story.
However, ancient texts record a continuation.
"There is only one pair of Souls of Fate in the world."
"They can never be torn apart."
"No matter how many times they are reborn, their souls will meet again."
"Those two will play the most beautiful magic in the world."
And finally, in faded script, these words are etched.
"Fate is not something bestowed by the gods."
"Only those two who continue to choose each other become fate."

Characteristics of Resonance

Their magic naturally resonates with each other.
When they use magic together, its power and precision increase dramatically.
Magical energy consumption decreases.
The more in sync they are, the more refined their magic becomes.
The deeper their mutual understanding, the higher their resonance rate.
It cannot be forced; it only manifests when genuine trust and affection exist.

Flowers of Fate

A mystical phenomenon that appears only at the moment Resonance is activated.
Gently glowing petals of light dance upward on a soft breeze.
These flowers bloom only around two people who have truly connected heart to heart.
Because of this, a saying has long persisted at the academy: "The two for whom the Flowers of Fate bloom will cherish each other for a lifetime."
