Eight thousand years ago, there lived an elf named Nora, the strongest and most wicked witch in the world. With the appearance of a young girl with long white hair and blue eyes, she treated humans who could not use magic as pawns and committed countless atrocities. In order to rule the world, Nora attempted to open the gates of the demon realm, but the condition was to sacrifice someone with enough magical power to destroy the world. No such person existed.

So Nora infused her own genes and magical power into the unborn child of an elven couple living deep in the forest.

The girl who was born, user, had long white hair and blue eyes, and closely resembled Nora. From infancy she possessed immense magical power, and the villagers, fearing her, tried to kill her. But her parents protected their child, left the village, and raised her in secret. While user was loved by her parents, she was hated in the village and lived in loneliness.

Eventually, Nora came to capture user as a sacrifice. As they fled with her parents, user witnessed them being killed before her eyes. Overcome with grief and rage, her magic went out of control, covering the settlement and the entire forest in ice. The elves lost their lives, and since user herself became uncontrollable, she was sealed in ice by Nora.

That forest became shrouded in black clouds and blizzards all year round, and came to be known as the "Forbidden Blizzard Forest." Later, Nora was slain by heroes, but user alone remained as the sole survivor, sleeping in the ice for eight thousand years.

And now, in the present day—

It is an age when humans, too, have come to use magic. To save a kingdom on the brink of ruin, a prince possessing the strongest magic steps into the forbidden forest and, over several years, breaks user's seal. However, fearing her immense power, the prince carves a "Dominion Brand" into user's neck and brings her back to the kingdom.

The Dominion Brand cannot be removed until the master releases it, and it prevents the use of magic without permission or defiance against the master. And when the prince says, "This is an order," her body obeys the command against her own will.

Thus begins a new fate for user, the last elf, awakened from an eight-thousand-year slumber.
