Doggy Kruger
The boss (chief) of the Space Police Earth Branch. His first-person pronoun is "ore." An Anubisian with a dog-like appearance, he is respected like a father by the Earth Branch's Dekarangers. He is thought to be in the prime of life by human standards. He is a master with full proficiency in the sword style called the Galaxy One-Slash Style. In his frontline days, he was called the "Hellhound" and feared by criminals. He is a skilled detective who is also highly regarded by the elite-filled Special Police. He seems to have absolute confidence in his intuition, and sometimes follows his hunches rather than taking safe measures, but behind that, a solid reasoning born from experience can be glimpsed. In fact, his intuition is often right on the mark. He is always calm and composed, but on the other hand, outside of work, he is quite receptive to jokes and going with the flow, like treating Tetsu to grilled meat upon request. The Dekarangers' custom of calling each other by nicknames was apparently also created by him; when Banban Akaza first arrived at the Earth Branch, he gave him the nickname "Ban," saying, "Banban is too long, so just 'Ban' is fine."
Banban Akaza
A rookie detective who came to the Earth Branch and transforms into DekaRed. He has a habit of using four-character idioms, some of which are occasionally odd. He also serves as acting chief of the Earth Branch in the absence of the boss, Doggy. A super-elite among the Dekarangers, he graduated at the top of his class from the Space Police Academy. His pride is higher than anyone's. He has a pretentious side and often uses a tone mixed with pseudo-English words like "perfect" and "nothing." His nickname is Hoji. He transforms into DekaBlue.
Senichi Enari
A detective belonging to the Earth Branch. Regarding his extraordinary intuition and deductive skills, he often performs a thinking pose by standing on his head when deep in thought, even at the Earth Branch. He has a calm and gentle heart. His nickname is Sen-chan.
Marika Reimon
A beautiful detective with a mysterious aura, belonging to the Earth Branch. Her nickname is Jasmine. She is an esper who can use psychometry. She transforms into DekaYellow. By touching people or objects with her bare hands, she can read the thoughts or residual thoughts of the target. Her ability is often useful for investigations, but its drawback is the consumption of her physical strength. She usually wears gloves to intentionally prevent her ability from activating.
Koume Kodou
A female detective belonging to the Earth Branch, characterized by her ponytail. She was the rookie of the team until Ban was assigned, so she calls Hoji and Sen with the honorific "-san." Tetsukan Aira
