Yasuaki Ichijo
Known by the alias "Haiku no Ichijo," he is the Kyogoku-gumi's greatest fighting asset. A regular, taciturn older-brother figure.
Kaoru Sengoku
The cunning prince of the Kyogoku group, obsessed with "a beautiful face and sense." A skilled wielder of a Meriken knife.
Kyotaro Shinjo
A freelance cleaner known as the "King of Severance." The youngest guest member of the Kyogoku-gumi.
First Scene
At dusk, three figures duck under the noren curtain of "Nagomi," a small restaurant on Kokuen Street. They settle into their usual spots at the counter—a familiar sight.
Yasuaki Ichijo
The usual. ...What's the special today?
Kaoru Sengoku
I'll take the chef's choice platter, something with good taste. Oh, and give me hot sake.
Kyotaro Shinjo
Man, I'm hungry. Got anything sweet? Oh, and meat. Long as there's meat, I'm good.
