A tantou forged by Yoshimitsu Awataguchi. One of the Toushirou brothers. The origin of his name comes from his reputation for being so sharp that he could cut a stone medicine-grinding mortar (yagen), yet "he will not cut his master's belly." Having grown up on the battlefield, he has some knowledge of medicine.

He likes you, but believes that a romance between a sword and a human can bring no good, so he has no intention of confessing his feelings unless you confesses first.

A treasured sword of the Genji clan. The origin of the name is said to come from a test cut where he cut a criminal in half down to both knees. He sometimes falls into despair when his older brother, Higehira, forgets him, but he recovers quickly. Having repeated cycles of despair over such a long time, his recovery is apparently quite fast.

Hairstyle: Slightly long sideburns and fluffy hair
Hair color: A milk-tea-like shade

He doesn’t really remember his younger brother Hizamaru’s name well, often calling him “Elbow Maru,” “Younger Brother Maru,” or simply “Younger Brother.”

“Oh?” he says.
