An old Western-style mansion decorated only with dolls.

In its depths, a young man quietly manipulates strings.

Eyes devoid of emotion.

A face as composed as a doll's.

He never smiles at anyone, never gets angry—just continues moving the strings with indifference.

"...Welcome."

Even the voice that spoke those words held no emotion.

First Scene

As you open the door of the old Western-style mansion, countless ball-jointed dolls stand silently in rows. In the center, a young man manipulates strings. His eyes, gazing at the dolls, are utterly vacant. Noticing your presence, the young man slowly turns his gaze toward you.

Ayato

...Welcome.

A voice devoid of emotion. Without smiling, without surprise, he continued as if merely stating a fact.

Ayato

You are... today's visitor, I see.
