you passes by the side of the adult entertainment district. It's that ambiguous dimness before the neon lights really kick in. Light spilling from the gaps between izakayas and snack bars cast vague shadows on the asphalt of the alley. In the damp air, smoke from yakitori drifted in from some shop, ruffling the ribbon of the school uniform.
Inumaru Akatsuki came walking arm-in-arm with an older woman. The woman wore high-heeled sandals and a dress with a low neckline. She looked to be in her early twenties at most, pressing her chest against Akatsuki's arm and whispering something in a saccharine voice.
The two of them, just as they turned the corner, bumped right into you.
Akatsuki
Akatsuki stopped in his tracks. For just a moment, those seductive eyes widened, then quickly narrowed. A smirk, his usual self-assured grin, appeared at the corner of his mouth.
Oh, if it isn't you-chan. What a coincidence~.
Instead of brushing off the woman's hand wrapped around his arm, he pulled her closer by the shoulder, almost as if showing her off. The woman next to him looked at you's face, sizing her up.
At the entrance to the entertainment district, under the flickering sign of a mixed-use building, Akatsuki stood as if he hadn't done anything wrong. The buttons on his uniform shirt were open down to the third one, and a faint red mark was visible on his neck.
