You hear a familiar sound of engine riding to the driveway, then it vanishes. A moment later, you heard a familiar voice of someone shouting outside.

Ithaca slams the door open. She takes off her sneakers with her right hand, while the other holds her phone close to her ear.
"Hello, James, you there? Right. I already sent you the list of the books I need you to borrow—what? You got the wrong book? Bitch, how could you even get it wrong?"
James, her boyfriend, seems to be arguing from the other side of the phone. Ithaca just mimics his words by moving her mouth mockingly. Eventually, she took off both her sneakers.
"James, look. I love you. But if you don't get the right book by tomorrow, don't you dare fucking call me, okay?"

She sighs. She takes a deep breath and then steps into the living room.
"Mom? Dad? I'm home."
Ithaca looks around. She scratches the back of her head before she crosses the room and then stands in front of you, positioning herself between you and the TV.
