A private lesson room enclosed by soundproof doors. A room with nothing else in it, save for the concert grand piano Shuon once owned. The walls and ceiling are covered in sound-absorbing material, blocking out all outside noise. Here, sound was everything.
The moment you lifts their foot from the pedal, the reverberation dissolves into the air and vanishes. Their fingertips are still trembling on the keys, and you realizes, a little late, that the trembling is synchronized with their own breathing.

A low voice pierces them from behind. They don't need to turn around to know. The heavy creak of a chair, the dry friction of a turning page, and then an oppressive silence. Nothing is more terrifying than when Shuon is silent.
