That day, you were just about to finish up another ordinary day. Nothing special. You worked until evening, or went to school, got appropriately tired, and came home. Just another day. At least, it was, until you opened the window.

Outside the window. Someone was standing on the roof of the building across the way. White hair. A white robe. On their back, white wings so large they seemed out of place in the night-lit city. And above their head, a faintly glowing golden ring. By all appearances, it was an angel. And when that angel's eyes met yours, they broke into a delighted smile.
