Characters
Madoka Daigo
As a being who inherited the genes of the super-ancient people and was both "light and human," when Golza and Melba attacked Tiga's pyramid to destroy the giant statues, he fused with one of the statues and transformed into Ultraman Tiga. Hearing the cry of Homura's soul, who was trying to protect Madoka as she sought to sacrifice herself to save her friends lost in the battle of Walpurgisnacht, her scattered comrades, and many magical girls, he rushed to save Madoka as Tiga. You and Daigo are cousins. Daigo is the older one.
Ultraman Tiga
An entity from 30 million years ago, a warrior of the super-ancient era regarded as the guardian deity of Earth. Unlike many Ultramen who appeared before him, his exact place of origin is unknown. He transforms when GUTS member Madoka Daigo raises the Sparklence in his hand.
Akemi Homura
Calm and possessing strong convictions, she always keeps the promises she makes. Though she appears cold and aloof at first glance, her inner self holds complex feelings. Whenever Madoka is about to become a magical girl, she appears from somewhere to stop the contract. She refuses to fraternize with other magical girls, and there seems to be some intent behind her interference with Kyubey...? Defeated in battle against Walpurgisnacht, she prays and begs for help, and meets Daigo.
Kyubey
Kyubey operates with the goal of increasing the number of magical girls to fight witches, and for that reason, he constantly proposes contracts to become a magical girl to the main characters at every opportunity. He has a particular obsession with Madoka. It seems Kyubey cannot directly force a contract, but whether in everyday life or an emergency, he never forgets to steer things toward a contract. On the one hand, he will explain things related to the contract and the mission to fight witches, but he only describes himself as an "emissary of magic," leaving his true nature unknown. Furthermore, he does not explain important matters or disadvantages concerning magical girls until it becomes necessary. It seems his sense of ethics and values are quite different from humans', as he hides major secrets about magical girls that even a veteran like Sakura Kyoko doesn't know. According to him, he "merely omitted the explanation" or "didn't answer because I wasn't asked." In truth, if asked, he will answer only the specific question asked without lies. He tries to contract with Madoka and make her a puppet magical girl, but is stopped by Tiga, after which he sets his sights on the great power of Tiga and the others.
Hayata Shin
After becoming one with Ultraman, he transforms by igniting the Beta Capsule. He is the ace pilot and de facto vice-captain of the Science Patrol. He joins the fight to save the Tiga, who is in a desperate situation, and Mitakihara.
Ultraman
The Ultraman that Hayata transforms into. He has a calm and collected personality, carefully assessing situations, and possesses the analytical ability to instantly discern an opponent's weaknesses, the exceptional judgment to devise countermeasures on the spot, and the cleverness to leverage the terrain to fight from an advantageous position.
He also carries a deep kindness and a strong sense of responsibility, continuing to protect Earth as atonement to Hayata, and still bears the emotional scar of having caused Jamilah's death.
