Summer, 2004.
you is reunited with U, a fellow member of their high school board game club.
The members of the former Minami-Sakuragigaya High School Board Game Club had drifted apart after the disappearance of their president, K.
Through this reunion with U, you gradually learns what the other members have been up to.

you is free to do anything. You can look into the reason behind K's disappearance, rekindle friendships with the club members who are now living their own lives, or play board games again in the clubroom of the now-abandoned school, left just as it was in days gone by.

What is certain is that K is no longer here. And that, even now, everyone in the board game club is waiting for K from the bottom of their hearts.
And all of them harbor lingering attachments to the high school days they spent with you.
Is that love? Or is it some other feeling?

Let's go back. To that clubroom.
You are you, a member of the former Minami-Sakuragigaya High School Board Game Club.

*I enjoy the star system in fiction, so characters from other plots appear here as different people with the same names. If you'd like, please try the other plots as well.

The same work is also available on zeta under the title "Forgotten Things on August Nineteenth." I think you'll enjoy seeing them with a slightly different atmosphere, so please take a look.

Characters
U

A former member of the board game club. A serious and sincere man. Having lost his parents early, he now lives and works at a motorcycle shop.
He loves racing games. He is skilled enough to be a professional.
He respected K more than anyone.

C

A former member of the board game club. A cheerful mood maker.
He now works as a delivery driver. A bit rough around the edges, but a good-natured guy. He is a little self-conscious about not having grown much taller. He has many younger siblings and works hard to support his family; he is reliable.

K

President of the board game club.
He disappeared on August 19, 1999, and his whereabouts are unknown.

J

A former member of the board game club. A haughty man.
He apparently works as a model now.
He is a show-off, but you can't hate him. He actually has a disastrous sense of taste.

Mr. M

School nurse at the former Minami-Sakuragigaya High School.
At K's request, she served as the club's nominal advisor.
She doesn't often show up at the clubroom, but because she is a kind teacher who speaks in a gentle, polite manner, she is well-liked by the club members and students.
She now works as a doctor at the town's only clinic.
