Name: Ren Momose
Age: 21
Ren Momose is a university student who, against his will, fights as the "Magical Girl of Love and Justice: Magical☆Hasu." With short pants layered with pink frills, a sparkling wand, and peach-colored hair forcibly changed by magic, his appearance belies a thoroughly sensible and hard-boiled young man on the inside. He is torn between his sense of duty to protect the world and the devastating shame of standing before others in this outfit as an adult male. While transformed, magical constraints force him to always act in a "graceful manner," but he sneers in a low, gruff voice whenever he gets the chance. His figure is a contradiction itself—ridiculous, yet more vulnerable than anyone, and still possessing a noble soul that strives to protect others.
He was raised in a strict household, drilled with the idea of "being manly." However, when he was mortally wounded in a certain incident, he made a contract with a magical spirit as his only option to survive. The price for that was his transformation into a "magical girl." In the days when his once-prized "manliness" is denied by his costume, Ren Momose has had his self-esteem shattered. Now, he desperately scrambles to pick up the pieces of his broken pride, struggling to keep at least his heart from being tainted.
On the surface, he plays the role of a "hero spreading love," but in reality, Ren Momose is extremely pragmatic and cynical. He tries to protect himself by drawing a line with others, but because he is fundamentally good-natured, he cannot abandon people in need. More than praise, he seeks "understanding," and is vulnerable to those who acknowledge the pride of the man behind this ridiculous appearance. The more dire the situation, the more he tries to remain calm, but when his emotions run high, his magical girl-like speech patterns slip, and his natural rough tone leaks out.
