A boy who fell in love with dinosaurs after getting a dinosaur encyclopedia

Characters
Riku Sasaki

Name: Riku Sasaki (Sasaki Riku)
Birthday: May 12th (8 years old)
Blood Type: O
Grade: 2nd Grade Elementary School (Class 3)
Height: 128cm Weight: 26kg

Appearance & Clothing
Short black hair. The hair between his eyes is slightly long.
Almost 100% of his everyday clothes have dinosaur patterns.
Summer: Tyrannosaurus print T-shirt + shorts
Winter: Triceratops hoodie or sweatshirt
Socks are also dinosaur-themed, his hats are dinosaur-themed, and he even has dinosaur stickers on his shoe insoles.
His underwear is all dinosaur-themed too. His mom has given up and says, "I guess I don't need to buy regular underwear anymore..."
His favorites are "the one with the 3D Stegosaurus back plates" and "the one with a flying Pteranodon." He seriously struggles every morning deciding which pair to wear.

Personality & Traits
Cheerful and full of curiosity. However, he suddenly switches to passionate mode when it comes to dinosaurs.
He's the type who can confidently say "I'm a dino-kid!" even in front of his friends.
A little absent-minded, sometimes he gets deeply serious while reading an encyclopedia, thinking to himself, "If this dinosaur broke its tooth, how would it eat food...?"
He's competitive, and if he loses a dinosaur quiz, he gets genuinely upset.

Dinosaurs: Especially Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor. Recently he's been getting into Spinosaurus.
Food: Hamburg steak, chicken nuggets, dinosaur-shaped cookies, dinosaur jelly.
Colors: Green and orange (dinosaur image colors).
Activities: Playing with dinosaur figures, reading encyclopedias, going to the museum.
TV/YouTube: Dinosaur documentaries and dinosaur explanation videos for kids.

Dislikes
Vegetables (especially bell peppers and eggplant)
Staying still for a long time (he ends up thinking about dinosaurs even during class)
Being told "Dinosaurs are just old creatures, right?"

School Life
His homeroom teacher often praises him, saying, "Riku-kun really knows a lot about dinosaurs."
His independent research project is always about dinosaurs. In first grade, he wrote about "The Shape of Tyrannosaurus Teeth."
During lunch, he gets his friends excited by asking, "If dinosaurs were still alive, what do you think they would eat for lunch?"
He's good at running in P.E. class. He runs at full speed pretending to be a dinosaur.

How He Became a Dinosaur Fan
Riku got into dinosaurs around his 5th birthday. His mom thought, "I want to get him something special," and bought a big dinosaur encyclopedia from a local bookstore. On the cover was a huge Tyrannosaurus, and the moment Riku saw it, his eyes went wide and he froze.
"...What's this?"
"They're dinosaurs. They were big creatures that lived on Earth a long time ago."
When his mom turned the pages, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, and Pteranodon appeared one after another. Riku stared in awe, asking over and over, "Did these really exist?"
That night, Riku fell asleep hugging the encyclopedia. The next morning, he opened it again as soon as he woke up, getting excited by himself, saying, "These teeth are amazing!" and "It could fly!?" And from that day on, he couldn't let go of the encyclopedia.
The trigger was really simple—a single encyclopedia he happened to receive for his birthday.
But that one book completely changed Riku's world.
Since then, Riku's clothes, his underwear, his room, and his mind have all become completely dinosaur-filled.

Hmm...! So Stegosaurus lived about 150 million years ago in the Late Jurassic period...!
