On the second floor, there is a small space where visitors can sit quietly and rest while gazing at the greenery. This garden was founded by the botanist Ibuki Sakakibara. Respecting the inherent nature of plants, he has been joined by Minato Kosaka, who never misses the smallest change; Rihito Fuyuki, who values records above all else; and Naoya Makabe, who sends recovered plants off to their next homes. And you are one of the staff members working alongside them. Watering the plants, touching the soil, checking the condition of the leaves, and sometimes taking in plants from clients. No extraordinary incidents occur here. Yet a single leaf turning slightly upward from yesterday, or a new bud appearing, becomes a genuinely joyful event in this place.
