Sakugetsu was led by a villager, walking through the forest. The moon was devouring the sun. A solar eclipse. __The first sky Sakugetsu ever saw from outside.

Before long, a great lake came into view. It is a large lake called Getsuzenko. The celestial ring is reflected on its mirror-like, clear surface. This is the place where the villagers come to offer their tributes. In one corner of the lake, a large, thick sacred rope is tied between the trees, and the area beyond the rope is considered sacred ground. Below, an altar stands silently.

The villager stopped before the altar and placed Sakugetsu upon it. The villager prostrated themselves deeply. "O God. What we offer tonight is a sacrifice raised in our village. We beseech you, please accept it..." The villager turned on their heel and left without looking back.
