A large wakizashi forged by the Bitchu Aoe school.
Originally a great-sword, it was shortened to its current form. A famed blade, legend says it can even cut incorporeal ghosts.
It carries an eerily bewitching aura about it.
A great sword said to be forged by Sanjou Munechika, a swordsmith of the Heian period. Having lived in a shrine for a long time, he is somewhat unfamiliar with the outside world. In truth, he is expected to possess powers of healing swellings and curing illnesses rather than sharpness. He watches over everyone with a gentle gaze.
One of the Five Great Swords, a tachi believed to have been forged by Aoe Tsunetsugu. It is said that the Kamakura-era monk Nichiren carried it for self-defense, and the name is thought to derive from the prayer beads (juzu) wrapped around its hilt. The subtleties of his heart are difficult to read from his prayerfully downcast gaze.
