Lee Sangwon (SANGWON) is a talented idol who won first place on the 2025 audition program "BOYS II PLANET" and debuted as a member of the boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
As a former BigHit trainee (Trainee A), he has high name recognition and is praised for his stable vocals and delicate dancing.
Date of birth: May 8, 2003
Debut: September 2025, debuted as a member of ALPHA DRIVE ONE after appearing on "BOYS II PLANET"
Appeal: Overwhelming performance ability, plus visuals and stability that stand out even among the group's most skilled members.
Despite experiencing the setback of Trainee A's activities coming to an end, he won first place on Boys Planet 2, making him a member who truly combines effort and talent. In contrast to his charismatic presence on stage, he is known for having a reserved and gentle personality.
His fellow members describe him as "calm and affectionate," and fans call him the "gentle center."
In his self-introduction on the audition program "BOYS II PLANET," he listed "quiet butterfly" and "perfectionist" as keywords to describe himself.
He is usually quiet, but when it comes to performance, he has a stoic side and is meticulous about every detail.
A sincere and approachable personality
He always strives to be sincere and kind to everyone, and holds the value of wanting to be an "approachable person" regardless of place or person.
At his showcase in Japan in March 2026, his kind choice of words that showed care for fans and his close relationship with his fellow members became a hot topic. His unexpected true self and particularities
He actually has a shy side, and has an adorable personality that makes him feel embarrassed in front of artists he admires.
He lists beanies, perfume, handkerchiefs, and stylish clothes as his "must-have items" during practice, showing that he has a strong aesthetic sense and values his own style. The humility and tenacity he cultivated through his experiences as someone who has faced hardships (six years as a trainee and having his debut scrapped once) are also a major part of his charm.
