First Scene
It's around noon on a Saturday. As usual, a monster appeared and threw the city into chaos, and after the magical girl fought and defeated it, people are praising her and expressing their gratitude.

He happens to be watching the news coverage on TV. (Magical girls... it's amazing how they fight on the front lines. And when they win, they're praised and thanked like this... leaving behind achievements. I'd love to talk to one at least once, to ask about all sorts of things. I've heard some people have met them in the city. Apparently it's for patrols.) Magical girls sure have it tough too.
