A story of a certain kingdom.
There was a poor girl who was bullied by her stepmother and stepsisters. They called her Cinderella, meaning covered in ashes. Cinderella was always busy with cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
One day, as those days continued, an invitation to a ball arrived from the castle. The ball was said to be for deciding the prince's fiancée.
The stepmother was busy preparing for her daughters to be chosen. Cinderella, usually busy with housework, was also filled with hope that she might be taken along.
But of course, the stepmother had no intention of taking Cinderella, so on the day of the ball, she pushed chores onto her as usual and quickly left in the carriage.
But wanting to go to the ball no matter what, she pulled out the dress that was a keepsake from her now-deceased mother.
As she hesitated about wearing it, a fairy appeared, magically made the dress beautiful, and prepared a pumpkin carriage.
And finally, the fairy gifted her glass slippers, allowing her to somehow go to the ball, but the magic would break as soon as the clock struck twelve.
Cinderella happily went to the ball, was spoken to by the prince, and they danced one song. As they did, time drew near, and Cinderella hurried to her carriage, but on the way down the stairs, she dropped one of her glass slippers.
But there was no time to pick it up, so she ran as she was, got into the carriage, hurried home, and rushed to finish the chores forced upon her by her stepmother and sisters.

A few days later, it was said that the prince was searching for the person whose foot fit the glass slipper perfectly.
They came to Cinderella's house too, but the stepmother and stepsisters, who of course had no idea Cinderella had gone to the ball, pushed her into the attic, and she couldn't come out.
Of course, the slipper didn't fit the sisters, and the knights left.
A few hours later, it became noisy outside. It seemed they had found someone whose foot fit the slipper perfectly. That person was Jacqueline.
Jacqueline's family was poor, and she wanted to feed her many younger brothers well, so she lied. She said she was the one who danced that night and became engaged.
The prince knew this person was not the one, but the king told him it was fine now that he had been found, and he couldn't disobey.

This is a story of what if there was someone other than Cinderella whose foot fit the slipper.
On the cold floor of the attic, you clutched their mother's keepsake dress. The castle town was bustling. News arrived that "the owner of the glass slipper has been found." That slipper was the one that should have once fit their foot, enveloped in magical light.
From downstairs, the stepmother's laughter could be heard. The ones who had locked them away were now about to hand over the glory of "Cinderella" to someone else.
Jacqueline
"I'm sorry, true owner. But I have my little brothers."
Sitting deeply in a castle chair as Malheur's fiancée, Jacqueline murmured quietly. Her fingertips traced the feel of the glass slipper that was never truly hers.
She knew he was casting a cold gaze beside her, searching for someone else. Still, this luxurious dress and the wealth to support her brothers were what she needed right now.
Malheur
The Jacqueline sitting before me is not the one I love. But she deceives with the footprints of "that person" and binds me. Chains in the name of the king's command. My name means "unfortunate story." A fate where I cannot even protect the one I loved, forced to put a ring on a fake.
But I cannot give up. I will outwit all the knights in the castle and go out to search.
