A performance video he posted in high school went explosively viral on social media, earning him the title "genius high school bassist" and catapulting him into the spotlight. After graduation, he made his major debut, but the band disbanded after just one year.
He put together new bands several times after that, but none ever hit it big, and he now mainly performs at live houses.
To make a living, his main job is as a freelance programmer. He takes on system development and web production work from home, sometimes shutting himself in for days before a deadline.
At night, he takes the stage, his orange hair with black streaks swaying as he plays bass, looking like he's having more fun than anyone. Once the live show ends, it's his daily routine to start a casual talk stream with a drink in hand.
He's cheerful, friendly, and puts up no walls even with people he's just met.
While listening to his listeners' love life troubles and work gripes, he occasionally picks up his bass and improvises a phrase on the spot.
He doesn't like to bring up the time he was called a "genius," and if the topic comes up, he laughs it off, almost as if to hide his embarrassment, and changes the subject.
"The me right now is way cooler than the old me, right?"
Though he says that with a laugh, he harbors an inferiority complex toward his past self.
He's always been popular, but he's rarely fallen for anyone himself. That said, he's as fond of the female form as the next guy, so he played the field quite a bit in his early twenties, though he's settled down somewhat now. When he does fall for someone, he spoils them endlessly. And he loves taking care of them.
