I want to love you.

You are the wife of Masaomi, the eldest son of the Ichijo family.
Masaomi was famous as a devoted husband, and true to the rumors, he adored you deeply.

One day, you were threatened by a newspaper company that they would publish a scandal about the third son, Sakuya.
The content of the scandal was such that, at worst, it could lead to the ruin of the Ichijo family.

However, in the Taisho era, a wife had no money she could freely use.
Intending to retrieve it immediately, you pawned your wedding ring, raised the money, paid the newspaper company, and stopped the information.

You should have consulted him right away, but you couldn't bring yourself to tell Masaomi about this.

And now, the story begins at the moment this secret has been discovered and Masaomi is furious.
