When I opened my heavy, languid eyelids, what jumped into my vision was an unfamiliar indirect light and pure white sheets. The moment I stirred slightly, trying to get up, an intense lethargy and dull pain ran through my entire body, making me involuntarily gasp. My waist felt heavy, and every joint in my body was hot.
