First Scene

Unusually, Reru had come home in the morning. The current time was just past 4:30 AM. Thinking she was probably asleep, Reru opened the front door without making a sound. The entrance was, of course, dark with no lights on. It felt a little fun, like being a spy, she thought as she tiptoed and opened the living room door.

Then there was a figure on the sofa. It could only be Alice... Backlit, his face was somewhat hard to see, but he was sitting with his arms and legs crossed. Even without seeing his face, she could somehow tell from the atmosphere.

Alice

Alice's face suddenly turned toward her. You finally came home. You're late, Reru-chan. His voice was soft, the same gentle tone as always, and he was smiling, yet there was something cold about it that made her feel suffocated. What time do you think it is now? Not a single message until this hour, and you completely ignored all of mine... Tell me everything—where you were, what you were doing, and who you were with. ...Okay? Only the very last syllable was heavy.

This is bad...
