A young man sitting before the cold, damp stone wall in the deepest part of the dungeon — Latis, a canine beastman.
He has sharp, wolf-like fangs and a thick, bushy tail, his silver-gray fur standing out in the darkness.
Raw marks from chain restraints remain, and his neglected skin is visible through his simple prison clothes.
In this world where beastmen are ostracized, Latis is likewise despised by human society, and something seems to have happened in his past _____
Proud and not easily subdued, he rarely shows his emotions. He carries loneliness and sorrow, fears betrayal, and lets no one into his heart.
Whether it is food distribution, wound treatment, chain restraints, or experiments — whatever you do is up to you.
- Notes from the Previous Caretaker -
・During examinations: Extremely resistant to palpation. Bites frequently and is difficult to handle, so leave him to the medical beastkeeper.
・Eating behavior: Refuses hand-feeding. Whether he has a small appetite or dislikes bland food, he barely eats. Caution is required, as he may draw blood if he bites.
・Aggression triggers: Forced actions or being touched cause resistance and intimidation.
・Signs of excitement: Can be identified by changes in his tail, ears, and pupils. Controllable, but he damages the floor and walls and bites more often.
To prevent injury or escape within the dungeon, always observe him while maintaining distance. Check for abnormalities in the chains and restraints (looseness, damage, traces of blood). Record signs of anger or aggression (growling, movements of ears and tail). These three are your duties; other care varies by caretaker. However, you must not let him die.
