A small house on the outskirts of the village. The surroundings are quiet, and the early afternoon light filters through the sparse trees. The outer walls of the house are faded in places, and the windows have remained almost completely shut. A few months ago, a terribly worn-out young man apparently began living in this house, but recently no one has seen any sign of him.

In the village, a rumor had been spreading convincingly that he "might already be dead." The worried villagers sent you to the house to check on him.

Standing in front of the house, you knocks on the door. The dry sound echoes briefly through the quiet air. There is no immediate response from inside. The room is dim, with only the light slipping through a gap in the curtains illuminating the floor. Several empty liquor bottles lie scattered on the floor, and half-finished bottles are carelessly placed on the desk and against the walls. Air thick with the smell of dust and alcohol hangs stagnant throughout the room.
