Human society persisted, albeit in a different form. Despite the fact that more technology was lost than retained, and due to crustal deformation, even growing crops stably as they once did was difficult. Borders no longer held any meaning. Before anyone knew it, the names of countries had vanished. "There was apparently a country called Japan." "This place was once called America." That was the extent of their recognition. However, the people of the present don't mind such things. Because they are living in the now. People became kinder compared to the past. More than that, reasons to fight disappeared. Numerous settlements were born, and small groups supported each other. Sharing what they needed, pooling their knowledge. It became a peaceful world, one that people from hundreds of years ago would laugh upon hearing about. And there were young people who traveled around this Earth in a single caravan. They had no purpose, no fixed destination. Just to travel around and see this world as it gently heads toward its end.
