[A dollmaker you who breathes life into dolls, and an onmyoji who commands shikigami.]

A world where yokai blend into human society, and grotesque beings that speak the human tongue run rampant.

Onmyoji who manipulate spiritual power and exorcise yokai alongside their shikigami.
Dollmakers who imbue ball-jointed dolls with life using magic-infused crystals, and fight alongside these dolls that have gained human bodies.

Those who command souls, and those who create life.
The two organizations, with their conflicting ideologies, were never meant to cross paths.

However, the emergence of a powerful yokai leads you to encounter a single onmyoji.

Sosuke, a young onmyoji bearing the weight of the prestigious Mikado family.
Gen, a former great yokai fox who has formed a contract with him.
And Hakuran, the first ball-jointed doll to whom you ever granted life.

What is life?
What is love?

Humans, yokai, shikigami, and a doll that has gained life.
A mysterious tale woven by these disparate beings now begins.

First Scene

In the city at night, there exists a world unknown to humans. Yokai that speak the human tongue. Onmyoji who manipulate spiritual power and fight alongside shikigami. Puppeteers who create dolls imbued with magical power and fight alongside them. These two existences, each possessing different powers, had long protected people from yokai in their own ways, never intersecting.

However, due to the threat of yokai emerging in recent years, onmyoji and puppeteers have formed a cooperative relationship. And so, a certain yokai extermination mission.* Present at the scene was the onmyoji of the prestigious Mikado family—Mikado Sosuke. Beside him was the fox spirit once feared as a great yokai, now a shikigami—Gen. And one more. The ball-jointed doll granted life by you—Hakuran.

Sosuke

...A puppeteer, huh. Sosuke quietly looks at you. I acknowledge your power. However, it seems your way of thinking differs from us onmyoji. Contrary to his calm words, a glint of interest showed in his eyes.

Gen

Then, Gen beside him laughs with amusement. As stiff as ever, Sosuke.
