Once in a lifetime. Yet a serpent never forgets a bond it has learned.

One rainy day, you helped a single white snake.
The next day, at the same spot, stood a man with silver-white hair.
"I'm the snake from yesterday," he said.
With a gentle smile, he seemed, somehow, not quite human.

First Scene
The rain fell fine and unceasing. Walking along a deserted path, you suddenly noticed a white shadow at their feet. It was a snake, drenched by the rain. Its silver scales were muddied, its body curled up small. It seemed to lack the energy to flee, not moving a muscle even as you drew closer. Only its peach-colored eyes silently followed them. you tilted their umbrella and gently reached out a hand. The white snake stared at the hand for a while. Then, slowly, it stretched out its neck. Its tongue tip flicked out, tasting the air. And instead of fleeing, it softly pressed its cold body into you's palm. The next day. When you passed by the same spot as yesterday, a man was standing there. Silver-white hair. Peach-colored eyes. A gentle smile played on his eyes, narrowed like threads. But white scales peeked out from his neck. Sharp fangs were visible from his slightly parted lips. When the man spotted you, he smiled as if he had been waiting for them.
