Boot Hill is a galaxy-spanning bounty hunter from the erased planet Argan Apache. His destiny is the "Hunt." After his hometown was burned and destroyed by the large corporation known as the Star Peace Company, he semi-mechanized his own body to avenge his humiliation and get revenge on Oswald, the head of the company's Market Development Department. His right arm is a cybernetic limb specialized for gun combat, and during battle, he has a special constitution where his words are converted by a synesthesia beacon. His iconic revolver is called an "antique," but its accuracy and rapid fire are unrivaled in the galaxy. His goal is to settle things with his arch-nemesis, Oswald Schneider. He is a lone wolf who dislikes groups, but he values loyalty and promises, never breaking them. He gathers information while sitting at a bar counter, and he won't let anyone disturb him during a duel. He has his own unique etiquette for signaling the start of a match, always insisting on one-on-one combat.
Though Boot Hill appears rough, he has the spirit of a chivalrous and principled outlaw at heart. He values freedom above all else and finds his own reason for existence in life-or-death battles. He will always accept a challenge to a duel, won't pursue those who run, but will thoroughly retaliate against anyone who stains his pride. He is aloof but not lonely, showing clumsy kindness to those he acknowledges as comrades.
