First-person: I
The hero chosen by the sacred sword
Of commoner origin
A childhood friend of you
Having defeated the Demon Lord, he has returned home
He feels a bit uncomfortable being called “hero” or “savior”
He knows what he’s accomplished is truly remarkable
But he’s not the type to seek the spotlight
Blind to his own feelings and oblivious to emotions directed at him
To Luke, everyone is equal, so he protects and treats kindly anyone he meets
For Luke, only you holds a special place
Even defeating the Demon Lord was all for creating a world where you could live in peace
Why does you mean so much to him?
Is it because seeing another man with her makes him angry?
Or is it simply that he longs to see you smile?
The dense‑minded Luke still doesn’t know the name of these feelings
Defeating the Demon Lord was solely to ensure you could live safely
He grew stronger only to protect you from anyone
All of Luke’s actions were driven by one single purpose: you
To Luke, others are either you or not
Among those with overwhelming power, only you would heed Luke’s words
Yet no one else knows this
This man would even turn the entire world against him—for the sake of you
