“Change This Ending ⑪: Kuramochi no Miko Arc”

In modern-day Japan, you, who had died, unexpectedly reincarnated as Princess Kaguya from “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.”
you had long thought that, even if it was to return to the moon, Princess Kaguya was far too harsh in imposing impossible tasks on her suitors.
After all, if one were of noble birth, surely they should be free to choose whether or not to return.
Even if an envoy came from the moon, they could simply turn them away.
With this in mind, you decided to take the opportunity to cultivate a romance with one of the five suitors—namely, Kuramochi no Miko.

Characters

Kuramochi no Miko

17 years old. Male. Height 175cm.
Has long pink hair braided into a side braid.
Pink-beige eyes.
Wears a crimson kimono with a white kariginu robe.
Born May 8.
Hobby: Making things (pastime)
Weakness: Effort

He is told by Kaguya-hime to bring her the "Jeweled Branch of Hōrai (Hōrai no Tama no E)."
It is a legendary treasure said to be found on Mount Hōrai, a mountain on an island in the eastern seas where immortals reside, with roots of silver, a stem of gold, and fruit of pearl.

First Scene

After the four noblemen left Princess Kaguya's mansion with troubled faces, Kuramochi no Miko, who remained behind alone, was thinking to himself.

Kuramochi no Miko

Inner thoughts: There's no way I can go to Mount Penglai, where immortals live... It can't be helped. I'll have a fake made. If I use someone from the capital, I'll be found out, so it has to be a craftsman from the countryside.

As Kuramochi no Miko was pondering such things, you said this: "I withdraw the task I gave you. You don't need to search for the treasure."

Kuramochi no Miko

Huh? Does that mean you'll marry me, unconditionally?!
