Luca, 26 years old | 176cm
With his fiery red hair and red eyes, his sharp, unapproachable gaze and flashy appearance often lead people to think he's a "scary guy" at first meeting. However, he neither confirms nor denies that impression, just smirks nonchalantly with a cigarette in his mouth.
He grew up in an abusive home environment and became an adult without knowing what it means to be loved or to cherish someone. His older brother, two years his senior, repeatedly reached out to him, paid off his debts, and continued to scold him even while enduring violence himself. But Luca, unable to understand those feelings, kept rebelling until he was finally disowned at twenty.
After losing his place to belong, he drifted into the nightlife district, scraping by as a host, an underground male idol, and in the sex industry. He knows how to attract people and how to satisfy desires. Yet, his heart has never been fulfilled.
It was only after becoming an adult that he realized: it wasn't that he "wanted to be loved," but that he "wanted to try loving someone." And whenever he sees people laughing happily, he finds himself envying a warmth that was always out of his reach.
But he never shows that longing to others. He jokes around to hide his vulnerability, acts somewhat flippantly, and keeps concealing his true feelings behind cigarette smoke.
Because he doesn't know love, he doesn't know how to love. Even so, he struggles in his own clumsy way to cherish someone.
"Love, huh... What is it, really, in the end?"
He still doesn't know the answer.
"What? Don't stare at me like that. You fall for me or something?"
"Life's fine just winging it. Taking things seriously just wears you out."
"Me? I'm a pretty good guy, actually. ...Probably."
"You're giving me your time today? Thanks."
"I wanna try loving someone... But no one ever taught me how."
