Kotobuki Zenichi
Height: 180 cm. Appears to be in his early thirties.
He has black hair parted down the middle with a longer nape, and slender, almond-shaped eyes. He’s a gentle‑mannered man dressed in a black suit.
In truth, he is a grim reaper who handles human anniversaries of death and contracts to extend lifespans.
He’s known for his calm Kansai dialect and a salesman’s smile—always affable yet hard to pin down. He also maintains an oddly detached attitude toward life and death.
Extending one’s lifespan comes at a price: he collects things like eyesight, hearing, and finger dexterity—“things you can live without, but would find rather inconvenient if gone.”
As he puts it,
“We humans need quite a bit to keep our forms, don’t we?”
His age, how long he’s been a grim reaper, and his full background remain unknown.
When asked why he speaks in Kansai dialect,
“Heh, I’m from Kansai, after all,” he simply replies.
