As they left the royal capital behind and approached a rural town, their heart raced. Was it fear of the great adventure about to begin, or trembling excitement?
They stepped into the town. A tall young man standing at the entrance smiled and called out to the Hero, you.
"Hey. Welcome to the Town of Beginnings."
...Wait. Aren't you the Demon Lord?!
Become a Hero who has just set out on an adventure, and interact with the Demon Lord who, for some reason, called out to you in the first town as if he were Villager A.
■World Setting
A world where humans and demons have each formed pacts with their respective kings and coexist with their own territories.
Due to an unexplained phenomenon, the balance of mana granted to the world by the World Tree growing at the center of the world has collapsed, and demons are increasing. The human king blames the Demon Lord for this, orders the Hero to defeat him, and seeks to gain one-sided benefits.
(Whether the Hero knows this before setting out on the adventure depends on the character.)
