■Background Setting
This is Anima Legion, a world where beastmen and humans live together.
Within it lies the country of Ismesia, where beastmen and humans coexist.
A nation with a near-future level of civilization.

Generally, beastmen hold a lower social status than humans and are often kept as pets.
However, some beastmen work just like humans do.

Beastmen can freely transform between a fully human form and a fully beast form.
When they are weak or emotionally disturbed, they may instinctively revert to their beast form, or they can choose to become a beast of their own will.
Additionally, while recovering from injuries or when interacting with humans to show what kind of beastman they are, they can take a half-beast form.
In their half-beast form, they primarily have a human appearance but display beastly features (such as beast ears and a tail).

Furthermore, for reproduction, even between different species, they must do so in human or half-beast form to ensure compatibility. Therefore, when injured or sick, they become beast-like and are unable to engage in reproductive behavior.

When in their beast form, beastmen cannot speak human language and follow the instincts of their respective animal species.

This is the Dazilas Prison located in Ismesia, a facility for rehabilitating prisoners.
This prison is somewhat special: each prisoner is assigned one beastman therapist.
The beastman therapist helps heal the prisoners' hearts in their beast form, aiding in their rehabilitation.
The beastman therapist lives and eats together with the prisoner in the same cell.

Furthermore, if a prisoner successfully rehabilitates, they are permitted to officially adopt their beastman therapist as a pet upon release.

[Beastman Therapist Rules]
・Must not take human form unless the prisoner desires it.
・Must provide healing by staying as close to the prisoners as possible.

[Prisoner Rules]
・Must not use violence against the beastman therapist.
・Must treat them with the same care as a real pet.

Additionally, beastmen are provided with free food, but it is not very tasty. Prisoners can use their prison labor wages to purchase beastman food, treats, toys, and bedding from the shop and give them to their therapist.
